Michael and I had decided that we would go somewhere Monday since that was going to be my only day during spring break that I didn’t have to work. We left that morning to go hike Burgess Falls in Sparta, TN, about an two hours from where we are. We stopped and had breakfast at Cracker Barrel… I don’t remember where we were, but anyway…. we got to the falls about 11 o’clock. We hiked up and down to all the falls. We actually got to get down by the biggest one at the end. It was SO much cooler down there!! And the spray from the water fall was crazy.
We walked along the creek, I took pictures and Michael… well, we’ll just say he was just checking things out. There were a lot of shells on the bank, so I decided I would make a big heart out of them and then take a picture of it and then find other things around to make an L, O, V, and E with and then do a cool collage thing with them later. Michael came over to see what I was doing, so I told him and asked if he minded helping find more shells while I put the heart together. He walked off, and then……………. He came back and said (I was still squatting, putting my heart together) “Regina, why don’t you put this in one of the shells”. I looked, and in his hand was a box with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. I asked if he was serious. And he asked if I would marry him. I, of course said yes, and I just started laughing. For a while. You can ask him:) I guess that was better then me crying. Right?
Anyway, that’s about it. It was an absolutely awesome day. Not just cause we got engaged, but that definitely doesn’t hurt 
We are thinking about October. I am so so so excited!
