ok. so really this post this just as much “business” as it is “personal”. i haven’t posted anything in a LONG time and there’s no excuse! it is my goal to at least have one post a week. here is my first post of 2010… i’m kinda excited about it. two (possibly three) Christmas’ ago, michael gave me a paint set and i haven’t touched any of it until the last few weeks. i have had an idea for a while now to paint several canvas’ to put in our dinning room… well today i finally carried out my plan. they aren’t perfect, but i’m pretty happy with them for now. what do you think? hopefully one day we’ll have a cabinet to go under them:)…patience is a virtue. patience is a virtue. patience is a virtue… here are some images i took during the afternoon. personal_1blog2

Laura - Love the paintings...it's so rewarding to paint something that looks good in your house and that others like too. I'm starting to paint more too, and I have really enjoyed it. I gave you a shout out on facebook... I hope it drives people to your blog and sends some business your way.

Amanda - Love them!!!! You could always join Holly, Lindsay, and I for our "craft days". We are starting a new tradition where us girls get together once a month and have a day of doing crafty stuff for our house (or the houses we want). And the boys can do whatever they want, which meant they watched all the football games this past weekend. Holly & I both found things at the flea market and are in the process of transforming them. It's a lot of fun!
