I can’t believe how big she has gotten! When Calyn was three months I had my first “portrait” session with her, and now… she is TWO! She is so smart and is such a girly girl. She showed us her baby doll and played “Happy Cupcake” (her rendition of “Happy Birthday) on her piano, and counted the ladybugs on her rain boots. So smart! AND… she’s going to be a big sister in April, so she showed us where her baby sister is:)

Thanks for hanging out with us Calyn! Happy belated birthday!!

personal :: be healthy

Due to Michael’s new job at Mission Clarksville we are trying very hard to do as we (he) “preaches”. He (along with a great team) will be teaching kids how to grow organic produce as well as good health. He’s only been part of Mission Clarksville since January, but has already learned and been introduced to some awesome things.

Here is our dinner from last night.

This was Michael's salad. Pork chop, apples, raisins, onion, cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette

This was mine:) It's the same, but with an Italian dressing and better looking! Yum!

Fun in the snow!

Several weeks ago, Lindsey was brave (and sweet enough) to put her wedding dress back on for a “trash the dress” type session. She was been happily married now for almost two years and STILL fits in her dress. I’ve been married for 5 months and don’t think I can get in mine anymore:(

We have had more snow here in Middle TN this year than I can ever remember! (That’s probably not saying much:) So we put our rain boots on, scarves, and coats and took advantage of our beautiful surroundings. I am thrilled with the results!

After we were frozen, we went inside to warm up a little and wait for our new model. Meghan, Lindsey’s brother-in-laws girlfriend was adventurous enough to get out there so we could play some more before the sun went down. Thanks Meghan and Lindsey!

The other afternoon I was being so productive… everytime I looked over at Phoenix was out like a light! On the couch, under the coffee table, on me:). Oh the tough life of a cat!

engagement :: grant and chelsi

Two Friday’s ago, Grant, Chelsi, Lindsey and I braved the FREEZING cold for a fun engagement session, and I am so glad we did! I love these images! Grant and Chelsi are such a sweet and adorable couple and friends of ours from church. They are absolutely awesome, and we wish them the best!
